Description
Normandy is unique in that it has prominent colors that look as if they’re rushing onto the slab from opposite corners. Then colliding in the center. This collision is creating a divide between the two halves of the slab. One side looks darker than the other. A deep brown mixed with blotches of cream and scant amounts of gold. The other side looks primarily gold, with trace amounts of dark brown and cream. As if, when the colors collided, they bled together.
This stone has so much movement with warm earthy colors that it should be placed on a darker base of brown, or even wood.
Normandy, originating from the depths of Brazil, provides an exquisite balance of browns and whites. Together these colors form a beautiful combination of earthy and rustic tones atop a white base. Given these colors, dark or light brown cabinets would pair excellently.
