Description
Emperador Dark, also in its Emperador Gold variant, is one of the most famous Spanish natural stones internationally. We can find it in different types of applications. It is common to find incredible applications in fireplaces, furniture, bathroom and kitchen designs.
Emperador Dark is also used for walls or floors also in combination with other materials, in fact its bright brown color can be perfectly combined with lighter natural stones (such as white or light beige colored stones) or with different stones colored (such as red, blue and others).
Technically, the Emperador would not be a marble. It would be remarkably variable dark brown breccia, with a fine grain and a few lighter and more irregular tones crossed by veins. It has some occasional signs of small calcite. The main variations normally depend on the different shades it may have (lighter or darker), but also on the amount of calcite. Usually the shade of brown is very bright and the depth of the color varies according to the shade of light, generally remaining a dark marble.
This material looks best with polishing.
Emperador Dark marble is one of the most elegant marble. The brown background with gold-colored veins make Emperador Dark marble ideal for luxury and elegant settings. Emperador Dark marble is used for bathrooms, interior walls and floors.
The Emperador Dark marble forms through a metamorphic process from sedimentary rocks. Its multiple colors derive from the presence of different minerals. Their mixing together “in a workmanlike manner” creates shades and veins that have enriched homes and buildings of every era and style for millennia.
